This weekend (10.24.09) The French Bouquet really enjoyed the rich, lavish colors and theme of a gorgeous outdoor wedding at a beautiful home in Broken Arrow. The bride had a vision of a Burgundy/French-country backdrop using rich colors such as Merlot, Burgundy, Eggplant and Ivory. With a beautifully detailed ivory gown and quaint 1930s-esque blusher the bridal bouquet looked absolutely fabulous with tightly yet elegantly packed deep red and purple flowers. The effect? A brilliant pop! For the bridal bouquet we combined Eggplant Calla Lillies, Rose-Red Baby Spray Roses, Eggplant & Red Velvet Dahlias, Red Antique Hydrangea, Eggplant Carnations, and Burgundy Vendalla Roses.
Most fitting for the Groom? A single Eggplant Calla with delicate Red Seeded Eucalyptus berries and small sprigs of Curly Willow tips. And for the Flower Girl? The most adorable soft ivory-colored basket filled with dainty Rose-Red Baby Spray Roses, accented with Purple Wax.
The Bridesmaids’ bouquets complemented the bridal bouquet perfectly with tufts of Red Antique Hydrangea, small Burgundy Vendalla Roses, and Red Dahlias, and highlighted with fluffy Ivory Roses.
