It’s day two of our Fab Floral Extra Week and we’re bringing you beautiful ideas and inspiration for pairing flowers with stationery. So you’ve got your personal flowers, your reception centerpieces, and perhaps your altar arrangements, but you’re wanting a little something extra in the floral department? Not a problem! Adding extra petals, foliage, blooms, or arrangements to your wedding design can be very simple, and there are so many different ways you can achieve your fabulous floral vision.
Today we’re focusing on adding that extra floral touch through your Stationery– your menus, guest books, programs, and more. Adding a simple bloom or sprinkling a few petals can add that extra wow-factor and pop you may be looking for. We’ve seen single blooms resting on napkin rings, on the chargers, and at the base of champagne glasses. There have been small, quaint collections, or one tall and stunning arrangement of flowers at the guest book or photo book table, a beautiful Fern along the side of the menu to bring a splash of color and texture, water bowls filled with dainty floating blooms on photo and favor tables, and so much more!
We would love to hear how you plan on incorporating more flowers into your design. Did you have a wedding or an event where you added an extra bloom or petals or a beautiful leaf at a place setting? Perhaps used flowers, potpourri, or a cute potted plant as your guest’s favors? Please dish! We love hearing from our fans and clients and look forward to the abundance of new and exciting Fab Flora Extras and designs we’ll be working on for the remainder of the 2010 season and all of 2011!
