2011 is seeing a lot of lovely wedding design trends– eggplant, various purple shades, modern designs with bold greens, yellows and oranges, Vintage Canary yellow with Billy Balls, and themes or styles such as Vintage, Eclectic, Antique, Rustic, and Organic. We love them all, but today we’re focusing on a style and theme that’s near and dear to our little sister’s heart (Petite Fleur), and ours, too! It’s the Organic. With organic designs and materials can come vintage touches or rustic accents, but the idea behind organic is simplicity. It’s freshness. It’s natural beauty. It’s pure.
Let’s conjure up some fantabulous organic images right now…organic styles and flowers with vintage and rustic accents….
Hypericum Berries – Seeded Eucalyptus – Pods – Branches – White Birch Bark containers – Mason Jars – Twine – Succulents – Cacti – Drift Wood – Twigs – Manzanita – Pussy Willow – Fern – Cotton – Curly Willow – Local Grasses and Greenery – Moss – Lavender
Are you positively taken by these beautiful organic materials? Are you swept away into a beautiful vintage atmosphere? That’s precisely what today’s featured wedding was! It was an exquisite design of the natural and organic beauty of nature.
With “retro” oranges, robust reds, and happy-hue green, the gorgeous wedding of the new Mr. and Mrs. Lichtenwalter was truly of an organic design. The mason jars, the drift wood, the antique-crafted and creative programs…everything’s just picture-perfect organic and vintage!
We’re beyond thrilled to share with you today this lovely wedding of our little sister’s, Petite Fleur, photographed by the talented Laura Vogt of Laura Vogt Photography. Our sweet couple’s wedding venue choice of The Barn was absolutely ideal for their wedding design!
A very vintage, authentic, organic, and rustic vibe was alive. The color scheme was perfect! The bridal party looked fabulous! The bride *gush* was breathtaking. The photography brilliant! Everything just perfect! We love this wedding for so many reasons, one of which is that it truly encapsulates “a Petite Fleur wedding.” It’s very fresh. It’s very simple-chic. It’s very organic. It’s just very lovely!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lichtenwalter, and thank you for letting Petite Fleur be a part of your memorable moment. And thank you to all of the awesome wedding professionals and people who helped make this day everything it was. And hats off to Laura Vogt for the brilliant photography!
